The MicroSATA Adapter can be used to adapt a SATA interface to a Micro SATA drive. It is voltage regulated to generate +3.3VDC, +5VDC, and +12VDC to the MicroSATA drive.

The adapter was not designed for internal laptop use (it will not fit inside a laptop). It is intended to adapt a MicroSATA interface to an external SATA write blocker.

No additional SATA signal or power cables are required when using the MicroSATA Adapter with a FireFly SATA Pocket Bridge, simply attach one end of the MicroSATA Adapter to the FireFly and connect the hard drive to the other end. When using the MicroSATA Adapter with any of our other Forensic Bridges or Duplicators, you will need to use SATA power and signal cables to attach the adapter.
