FREDL Includes the UltraKit
 The UltraKit is a portable kit which contains a complete family of hardware write blockers for use in acquiring a forensically sound image of virtually any hard drive you may encounter (IDE, SATA, or SCSI). FREDL's UltraKit contains all the write blockers, cables, adapters, and power supplies necessary for use in acquiring images in the field using a standard laptop with FireWire or USB support. FREDL's UltraKit consists of a Write Protected UltraBlock IDE/SATA, UltraBlock SCSI, two power supplies and all the cables required to connect your suspect drives. Write to your destination SATA drive via the ultra-fast eSATA port integrated into the FREDL.
The Ultimate Mobile Forensic Imaging and Acquisition Solution
FREDL is designed for use "on location" at electronic crime scenes. Remove the hard drive(s) from the suspect system and attach them to the appropriate (IDE, SATA, or SCSI) write blocker in the UltraKit. You can then use the FREDL system to quickly and efficiently create your image file(s) on the acquisition drive attached to FREDL's eSATA port. Using the eSATA port allows you to utilize faster, larger, less costly desktop drives to receive your forensic images.
The Ultimate in Mobile Forensic Convenience
With multiple boot menu options, FREDL is not limited to use as a Forensic imaging tool. FREDL can be booted into DOS 6.22, Windows 98 (Standalone DOS) or Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit and will support any forensic tools which run within those environments. FREDL also comes complete with a fully configured installation of Suse Linux Professional. Capable of accomodating the fastest Intel processors, and an impressive memory capacity of up to 8GB, FREDL is also a very formidable processing platform.
Network Functionality Built In
FREDL also has the ability to connect directly to a 10Mb, 100Mb, or even Gigabit Ethernet networks for use as a standard laptop when not processing or acquiring data. FREDL also includes integrated 802.11a/b/g/n wireless capabilities. With the addition of Network Analysis software (Packet Analyzer), FREDL can also be used to monitor network traffic and communications at the crime scene.
