BIOS Setup for the P5WDG2 WS Professional Motherboard

Here are the BIOS setup instructions you'll need for the P5WDG2 WS Pro motherboard following a CMOS reset. The instructions for resetting the CMOS are on page 2-27 of the P5WDG2 WS Pro Motherboard Manual.

  1. Go into the Exit pulldown, Load Setup Defaults
  2. Go into the Main pulldown and set the Time and Date
  3. Go into the Boot pulldown and make the boot order is Floppy, DVD, HD
  4. Go into the Advanced pulldown
    Go into the Jumper Free Config
    Set AI Overclocking to manual
    DRAM Frequency should be DDR2-800
    Memory Voltage needs to be 2.00v
  5. Back out into the Advanced pulldown
    Select Onboard Devices Config
    Disable the PCI LAN (leave the PCI-E Lan enabled)
    Disable the Marvell SATA Controller
  6. F10 to save and exit
